The tension was NOT something I would recommend. It was a strain on our relationship too. I was jobless and dependant on my husband for the food that I ate.

I had always been the girl growing up that had at least 5 jobs going at the same time and saved every penny of them when all of my friends were spending their money left, right and centre....

I had always taken care of myself and I was a natural born entrepreneur, but I had no specific goals and no idea how to build a business without burning myself out.

I knew that I never wanted to be an employee again and I definitely didn't want to live off the government...

So I tried my hand at a direct sales and network marketing and found that, although I had a knack with dealing with people and selling the products, I was still ultimately a distributor for someone else's business and I wanted my own!

I didn't know what business I wanted to do and I had no idea of what kind of goals I wanted to ultimately achieve...

It truly was a horrible, lost, empty feeling. I felt utterly useless and lifeless. I had spend a small fortune building up my network marketing business and loved the idea of being my own boss. I needed to be more in control of my life.

So that got me thinking...

It was high time I learned how to be financially savvy....so if I ever had another financial crash like the debt we had been in that I'd be able to look after myself...

AND I would no longer need to be dependant on anyone!

AND I would be able to pass along this incredible financial knowledge to my own kids, so that they would never have to go through the emotional and financial stresses that I had!

So that's what I did. Through the school of hard knocks, studying poorly written financial books that were typically outdated, and then finally through finding some expert mentors like Robert Kiyosaki, Derek Gehl and Wallace D. Wattles, I learned the tricks of creating and managing wealth...
